What can be confirmed now
The official Beyond Armageddon developer post dated August 20, 2026 says the team has multiple updates planned for 2026, with two scheduled for autumn. It says a 1.1 update was already planned before the 1.0 launch and that the work will focus on content left out of 1.0, new features, and improvements shaped by player feedback. The post also says the team is already looking toward 2027, but it does not give a 2027 schedule.
This is a roadmap status, not a promise that every item is already in the game. The confirmed 1.0 launch content belongs to the current build: Survival Mode, Raven Rock, Solo Mode, the guided tutorial, Weekly Assignments, Merits, platform achievements, and the Rescue Beacon. Keeping launch content separate from future plans prevents an announced feature from being mistaken for a released one.
The older April plan
The roadmap file contains an Early Access entry titled Reanimation Update and labels it as update 0.4.0. It mentions Combat 2.0, Map 2, and Map 3 in the captured text. Since the supplied release material places the full 1.0 launch later, those entries cannot be presented as upcoming post-1.0 tasks.
An old roadmap can still be useful as development history, but its dates and labels need an Early Access tag. The collected files also include community map notes that refer to Lewiston being added in the Reanimation period, which shows why date context matters. This page does not promise that the old April plan remains active or unchanged.
September update: quality of life and content variety
The August 20 post says the September update will focus on controller support, including deadzone improvements and better UI menu navigation. It also describes additional objective permutations for Lewiston and a brand new scenario for Pottsville, creating a different objective flow on that map. New weapon attachments, including muzzle modifications and laser sights, are also listed for the September work.
A second hotfix was described in that post as upcoming the following week, with controller access to the scoreboard, individual player muting, and additional fixes. The same update discussion says the team is investigating better character preservation after disconnects and subtitles as an accessibility and quality-of-life goal. These are dated status statements; the page does not convert them into a claim that every item is already live.
October and mode-specific plans
The official post says the October update is expected to add more gameplay items that give players additional choices during runs without overwhelming new Responders or invalidating existing builds. It does not name those items or provide an exact release day. That makes October a confirmed planning window with an open feature list, not a complete patch note.
The team is also investigating an expansion of Solo Mode beyond match-by-match practice while keeping the cooperative experience central. Survival is described as an important addition, and the developers say they have future map plans but are not ready to provide details. No Survival map name, date, or reward change is added here because the post does not confirm one.
Autumn endgame systems
Starting later in autumn, the developers plan to build an endgame around Responder Retirement. The announced system will let players retire maxed-out characters in exchange for future Responders receiving major gameplay benefits and exclusive cosmetic items. The same plan includes improved support for XP events and clearer in-game indicators for boosted levels or currency.
A Responder Memorial is also planned so players can look back at past Responders, including those who grew old with civilians or died in the field. The official post says the Memorial is intended for all players, even those who never retire a Responder. The timing and exact rewards are not specified beyond the announced direction, so this page does not add a level requirement or reward table.
Hell Mode status
The official Beyond Armageddon post describes Hell Mode as a more endgame-focused experience beyond Nightmare and says the team hopes to release it before the end of 2026. It does not provide a ruleset, map list, reward structure, difficulty number, or final date. The correct roadmap status is therefore announced target, details pending.
The same boundary applies to future Survival maps, the expanded Solo Mode, and the unnamed October gameplay items. A title, community discussion, or old Early Access roadmap cannot supply the missing rules. This page records the announced direction and leaves the unconfirmed implementation details out instead of sending the player away for an answer that the page could not support.
Roadmap answer in one line
The current No More Room in Hell 2 roadmap confirms multiple 2026 updates, a September controller and content-variety update, an October gameplay-item update, autumn endgame systems, and a target for Hell Mode before the end of the year. The April/0.4.0 Combat 2.0 and map entries remain Early Access history, not current post-1.0 promises.
The exact Hell Mode rules, future Survival map details, expanded Solo rules, and October item list are still not published in the verified material. This page gives the player the complete confirmed answer in place and labels those open items honestly. When a later dated announcement supplies a concrete feature or release status, it can be added as a new roadmap record rather than rewriting history.
